As I have posted on this previously all the numbers are in now. The new Kia plant will ground break this fall and scheduled for operation by early 2016. Kia Motors has said compact vehicles will come from the new plant but did not say what models.
The new Kia plant will be massive similiar to the Kia Motors plant in Georgia. Kia has put a cool 1 billion dollars up for the project. There will be other suppliers close by on the property as well.
This will be very beneficial for Kia as to clear up the overflow from the Georgia plant and from overseas. Stay tuned for any updates. Have a great weekend. Enjoy.
