Happy Memorial Day! Lets talk underpinnings for a moment. The 2014 Kia Soul is based off of the new Kia Cee'd platform which makes this new Kia Soul a tad longer and wider all around. This platform is also more solid and rigid for a sportier stance and ride. Interior and cargo space has increased also. The roof is slightly lower than the 2013 model instead resembling the Trackster concept.

There are added bushings up front between the wheels where as the 2013 and past models had none. The steering block is electric (also different from 2013 and past models) and positioned better for drive-ability and weight as are the rear shocks absorbers for more travel. There are a host of other differences in the original Soul and the new 2014 Kia Soul. All this makes for a more mature grown up ride.

Did I mention how photogenic the new 2014 Kia Soul is. Below is one of my favorite photos. Enjoy.
