As far as I know Kia and the Soul is the only brand and model to have illuminated mood/music flashing speaker lights.
While some view this as a minimal after thought or cheesy the speaker lights have been with the Soul since the beginning. Over the model years they have evolved as with the overall design of the Soul.
I find them quite nice and unique as with the Soul itself. And think now we are adding door puddle lights to cars & trucks that display their brand logo on the ground (trunk area too).
Just like the iconic body design the speaker lights and hamsters included stay true to the future of the Kia Soul.
