As superstitious as I can be I never expected the new 2014-2015 Kia Soul and 2015 Kia Soul EV to be recalled today.
There is probably many of shocked folks as I am. Now, the recall affects the accelerator pedal as they may bend, break or fracture and limit your use to actually accelerate possibly leading to a accident.
As dangerous as it sounds there are no reported injuries and all affected owners and dealership vehicles on the lot will be fixed for free as Kia has always done.
Kia also is known for being very proactive on getting things moving and swiftly taking care of all involved.
Some 208,858 2014-2015 Souls including the Electric Soul are affected. The recall starts March 24 and Kia will notify all involved. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. The number for this recall is SC116.

*On a good note the Kia Soul received another award today for best vehicle for families by U.S News & World Report along side the K900. Kia Motors will also start selling vehicles in Mexico in July*.
