Most people know Peter Schreyer as the Kia and Hyundai Vehicle Designer who has been on board for some years now from Audi with his amazing designs yearly.
Mr. Schreyer is the person who took the Kia Soul design to great success year after year but a fellow by the name of Michael Torpey is the original Kia Soul creator. His story of the birth of the Soul on paper is pretty awesome and I have linked it here for your viewing.

Myself owning a 1977 Chevy Malibu Classic and 1978 Chevy Caprice Classic in the past the body lines are easy to spot on the Soul. That is my main attraction to the Soul as it reaches back and borrows from older classic cars.
