The 2010 to 2013 Kia Soul had a poor score for the small overlap test but with the improvements in the crash tests themselves and new added crash tests the 2014 Kia Soul was not tested.
The improvements with the 2015 Kia Soul front and rear crash zones and structural rigidity got a "good" grade for the small overlapping test and more leading to the vehicle receiving the IIHS Top Safety Pick. Congrats Kia as safety is everything.
